Three Haiku - Morgan Kenney

Haiku

Half a soothing moon
Glowing on a happy heart
Beats a mourning full

Haiku

To hope is to grieve
To love is to learn to hate
To live is to die

Haiku

Nobel invented
Ballistite and dynamite
Couldn’t get Eve right

Romance

Your eyes
dipped deep
behind the words
fondled feeling

My tongue
found soft sounds
to embroider reality
suggested possibility
